South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive
Inhand Systems were involved in the creation of a new website for the transport executive. The existing site was base on an older CMS from Microsoft and was not being supported well so the whole site was rewritten to be based on the Ektron CMS400.NET content management system.
The whole of the site was restuctured for the new CMS to provide content editors with an easy way to update content. A search facility was provided to enable the whole of the site content to be searched. Two client portals were created one for media and one for job seekers. These portals allowed job seekers to apply for jobs electronically and to track their applications and for media users to download press release images.
A range of custom aspx, ascx and xslt templates were created and extensive use of the Ektron CMS400.NET api was made.
